What the Copilot does
The Copilot works inside the Unibox, where every reply to your campaigns lands. It does three things:
- Sorts every reply into a category — Interested, Not interested, Out of office, Unsubscribe, Left company or Other. Sorting is free.
- Drafts an answer for the kinds of reply you choose under Copilot drafts replies for. Only Interested replies are drafted until you add more. The draft appears above the reply box, ready for you to edit and send.
- Judges each automatic draft: could it have gone out as it is? The draft shows either Copilot would have sent this. or Held, with the reason.
Removal requests are never drafted — the Copilot hands those to you. Drafted replies are charged from your wallet; prices are on the pricing page.
Teach it with playbook rules
Open Copilot in the sidebar to find the playbook. A rule has a Name, a When they… (the kind of reply it covers), a Then answer… (what you want to say back), an optional Tag, and whether it Applies to every campaign or just one. For example: when they ask for a catalogue, then send the catalogue link and offer two times to talk.
Rules get better with examples. Each example pairs a message someone sent with what you sent back. Add them by hand, or pick Save as Copilot example on a message you sent in the Unibox. A draft you send without editing becomes an example too.
The Copilot only says it would have sent a draft when one of your rules matched the reply. The same page holds How Copilot writes — standing instructions, named links such as your meeting link — and Recent activity, showing what was held and why.
You can also ask the AI tab to suggest rules and examples. It can propose playbook changes, but it can never switch sending on.
Auto-reply is off until you switch it on
The Copilot never sends a reply by itself unless you turn on Copilot sends replies itself on the Copilot page and confirm with Turn on sending. Turning it off takes effect straight away.
Even then, a reply only goes out on its own when a rule matched, that rule has at least five examples and its own Sends itself switch on, and the Copilot judged the rule answered everything. It then waits at least 15 minutes in the Unibox — between 15 and 35, varied so replies don't look automated — with a countdown you can cancel. It never answers unsubscribe or left-company replies, never answers a thread you already handled, and stops at the daily limit you set. Replies it sent carry a Sent by Copilot badge.
Saved replies
Answers you reuse are Templates in the Unibox. Use the templates menu on the reply toolbar to Save current text as template…, insert one, or Manage templates…. Templates are shared by everyone in your workspace.
